Okay, we’ve covered several concepts in cognitive science, physics, and emerging technologies. Time to bring it all together and find a conclusive North Star to drive forward on. Main goal here is to augment our cognitive faculties. Cognitive Fitness, Neuroplasticity, and in general things our brain needs for long term health.
The human brain has approximately 86 Billion neurons, with about 70% of these dedicated to Kinesthetic/Motor Processing. Following that, Spatial Processing, Sensory-Perceptual, and Temporal Processing are the following cognitive realms that take up a majority of the remaining neuronal density in the brain.
What we’re effectively doing is building a Digital Tool that utilizes the processing power of the Spatial parts of the brain in order to better organize the Temporal part of the brain. With this, the Primary Directive of Circaevum is to optimize the Circadian Rhythm.
I look at going through the daily cycle of life somewhat as an often clunky process that we often fall out of order with. Unhealthy work schedules, nights out, travel, and disruptions to our health can knock us our of a smooth routine, and it isn’t often clear what we can do to best recover and set ourselves up for a swift return to normalcy. Instead, disregulation in various systems can often lead to health conflicts that end up compounding rather than going away. The number one thing people have control over that can influence our health and longevity is our ability to maintain a balanced Circadian Rhythm. The priority of Circaevum is to help the individual master one’s Circadian Rhythm, to stay on top of these biological cycles, and to get to a smooth running state to the point that falling out of order is much more difficult to do. Like a bicycle, once you get up and riding for the first time, it is often eye opening how easy it is to stay up. Many people live much of their lives having never gotten truly up and running into a smooth flow state.
